MSE offers "Science of Superheroes" (EMS 2) course in spring

Ever wondered whether Iron Man could really power a flying suit of armor with an “arc reactor” the size of a soup can, or whether the Winter Soldier’s metal arm could really act just like his flesh-and-blood arm?  Consider these and other superhero questions with EMS 2: The Science of Superheroes this spring quarter, and join materials scientists finding out what it would take to make comic book fantasy into reality.  Also check out Prof. Ricardo Castro’s interview with ABC10 about the class.
