How to Clear Annual Advising Holds
Annual advising is mandatory in the College of Engineering. Holds are based on your undergraduate class level and timing of holds can be found in the College of Engineering website.
Advising hold meetings are held with the intention of reviewing degree progress, discuss a feasible academic plan for the subsequent three quarters, and offer a space to address any questions or concerns.
Advising holds can be viewed on your Schedule Builder or on your OASIS by clicking “Holds” under “Academic Record.”
You must schedule an appointment and submit a three- quarter plan in OASIS to release your hold. To schedule an appointment, please visit appointments.ucdavis.edu.
For First Year High School Admits Fall 2022
Group Mandatory Advising Sessions are required in order to satisfy your advising hold. In the group advising session, we will cover important dates and deadlines, campus resources, and how to use your academic resources to create an academic plan. If you cannot attend the entire session, please choose a different session to attend. If you are more than 5 minutes late from the start, you will be asked to join a different session.
